Data Analyst
About The Position
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our team at BIScience, a global leader in behavioral intelligence and digital advertising analytics. In this role, you’ll work with high-volume structured and unstructured data, ensuring data quality, optimizing queries, and supporting insights for enterprise-level marketing and advertising analytics.
What You’ll Do:
🔹 Work with Big Data – Handle, process, and analyze large-scale datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various data sources.
🔹 Advanced SQL Querying – Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
🔹 Excel-Based Analysis & Reporting – Use Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, and automation techniques) to structure and analyze data efficiently.
🔹 Data Quality & Validation – Identify and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring high integrity across datasets.
🔹 Collaborate with the Data Team – Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to provide accurate data insights.
🔹 Support Business Intelligence & Visualization – Work with Tableau (or similar BI tools) to visualize trends and insights (a plus).
🔹 Manual Data Processing & Validation –Perform hands-on data tasks such as cleaning, structuring and verifying datasets to maintain high data integrity.
Requirements
• 3-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst in a data-rich, technical environment.
• Strong SQL proficiency – Ability to write, optimize, and debug queries for large-scale databases.
• Excel expertise – Comfortable with advanced formulas, PivotTables, and working with large datasets.
• Manual data processing experience – Willing to engage in hands-on, detail-oriented work, validating and structuring data as needed.
• Attention to detail – Capable of identifying patterns, inconsistencies, and trends in complex datasets. Strong analytical mindset –
Able to translate raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Experience with BI tools – Familiarity with Tableau (or similar BI tools) is a plus.
• Basic Linux skills – Understanding of command-line operations for data extraction (a plus).
• Python familiarity – Experience with basic scripting for data processing and automation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills – Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to present findings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English – Comfortable discussing and documenting data insights clearly.
